In a forthcoming research study conducted by Neufeld Legal P.C.,
it was identified that approximately fifty-four percent (54%) of current
National Hockey League (NHL) All-Stars are seeing a portion of their
legitimate commercial rights and revenues being siphoned away by the
improper and illegal actions of unaffiliated third-parties, who are
profitting at the players' expense. Whereas correcting such impropriety
is possible (with limited time and cost), it remains largely
unrecognized and/or there is a failure to act. In turn, many NHL hockey
players are losing out on commercial revenue that is rightfully their
own. For professional hockey players seeking to inquire about their situation, contact us (this study shall not be publicly available). |

LAWYER: CHRISTOPHER NEUFELD What are you seeking in a lawyer? Truthfully, as a professional hockey player, the lawyer you require is both a legal guardian and a business advisor, who is capable of advising you on issues that are both legal and financial in nature. As such, you require someone with considerable business acumen, who properly understands that the money you generate today must be properly secured and optimized so that it serves you both now and in your post-hockey days. My legal career has been focused on understanding and navigating the challenges associated with business and finance, ascertaining not only what is necessary to legally and contractually protect my clients, but also assisting in the identification and development of legal strategies that can best advance my client's business objectives. Understanding the implications of various business initiatives and advising against a certain course of action, its pivotal to my providing the legal direction that my clients deserve. Halting bad business moves from being undertaken is extremely important to myself, as it is essential to protecting my clients' future. From my initial years of practising law in New York City on Wall Street, to my current practice in both Toronto and Calgary, I work diligently to advance the interests of my clients, in the most professional and ethical of manners. This means working to develop the right solution, while putting in place appropriate legal controls so that you don't get burned. So whether its in my legal representation of an NHL Hall of Fame hockey player or an international corporate business, there is an unflinching intensity to realize the objective results.
