In a forthcoming research study conducted by Neufeld Legal P.C.,
it was identified that approximately fifty-four percent (54%) of current
National Hockey League (NHL) All-Stars are seeing a portion of their
legitimate commercial rights and revenues being siphoned away by the
improper and illegal actions of unaffiliated third-parties, who are
profitting at the players' expense. Whereas correcting such impropriety
is possible (with limited time and cost), it remains largely
unrecognized and/or there is a failure to act. In turn, many NHL hockey
players are losing out on commercial revenue that is rightfully their
own. For professional hockey players seeking to inquire about their situation, contact us (this study shall not be publicly available). |

HOCKEY PLAYERS MARKETING THEMSELVES TO THE PUBLIC Creating the correct commercial image through effective business and legal strategies. Creating the right public image for a professional athlete is extremely important, as it can translate into a potential lucrative avenue for secondary income. However, such a process must be done correctly, if it is going to work effectively and result in future endorsements and business opportunities being pitched to that player, as opposed to other players on his teams or in the league. As such, you really need to market yourself correctly to the commercial public and only enter into those contracts that are able to propel your personality and accomplishments forward. Far too many professional athletes fail to get the appropriate professional advice during their playing days that they find themselves with little or name recognition, much less commercial interest, at the end of their playing days. In such circumstances, they have a hard, if not impossible, task to create commercial demand for their services when they are no longer playing professionally the game they love. And without such recognition and demand, the future can be very bleak, when opportunities instead could have been possible to develop for the future (making one's post playing days that much more exciting).
